Custom Feeds: The Bluesky Advantage

One of Bluesky's most powerful features is custom feeds. Unlike traditional social platforms where a single algorithm determines what you see, Bluesky lets you choose from a variety of algorithms created by different developers.

Custom feeds can be based on topics you're interested in, content curation styles you prefer, or specialized niches. For example, you might find feeds focused on art, local news, positive content, or technical discussions.

First of all, you can just use the Followings feed which is a curated feed of accounts that you follow, no algorithm involved.

To try custom feeds:

1. Go to the 'Discover' tab

2. Scroll down to 'Feeds'

3. Browse available feeds and add ones that interest you

You can switch between feeds anytime, giving you control over your social media experience. This approach helps break out of filter bubbles and allows for more diverse content discovery.
