Sports communities on Bluesky are growing fast. There are 3,200+ packs in the Sports category on theblue.social, spanning pretty much every major sport and quite a few niche ones.



Here are the packs I'd start with.



General sports



Mysterious Starter Pack by @shamsbot.bsky.social (300+ members) is one of the bigger general sports packs. Broad mix of sports journalists and fan accounts.



Sports Starter Pack by @emarktaylor.bsky.social (160+ members) is another good general option — reporters, commentators, and dedicated fan accounts across multiple sports.



Motorsport



Motorsport 1 by @raulmv93.bsky.es (230+ members) covers F1, MotoGP, and other racing series. If you're into motorsport, this is the one.



Tennis



Tennis Folks by @emarktaylor.bsky.social (170+ members) pulls together tennis writers, players, and fans. Well-curated for the size.



Basketball



WNBA Bluesky Mega Starter Pack by @shamsbot.bsky.social (150+ members) is a solid WNBA community pack — journalists, team accounts, and fans.



Wrestling and rugby



Independent Wrestlers & Insiders by @rickeelynn.bsky.social (150+ members) covers indie wrestling — performers, promoters, and commentators outside the WWE/AEW mainstream.



Rugby League & NRL by @leagueeyetest.bsky.social (150+ members) is a tight community pack for rugby league fans, mostly NRL-focused.
